Ryan Sloan is a novelist and essayist. He teaches writing at the University of California, Berkeley. He is one of the co-hosts of the Babylon Salon quarterly reading series in San Francisco. Ryan received his MFA in Fiction from New York University and his MA in English at University College London. Nominated for the Pushcart Prize, his work has appeared in LA Weekly, Opium Magazine, The Modern Spectator and Painted Bride Quarterly, among other publications. Ryan is represented by DeFiore & Co Literary Agency. He lives in Oakland.
